Where to Watch Fireworks in Southern California This 4th of July

Next weekend is the 4th of July and with California officially back open, that means it’s time to celebrate! If you’re looking for a great firework show to take your friends or family to, check out our list for recommended shows/parades happening this 4th of July. I have provided one show each for the following counties: San Diego, Orange County, and Riverside.

San Diego County: Big Bay Boom! (San Diego Bay)

The Big Bay Boom is back! Come on down to the San Diego Bay and enjoy perhaps the largest and most exciting firework show in southern California. Not only is it free to watch, but the show can be seen in any of these six locations: Shelter Island, Harbor Island, North Embarcadero, Marina District, Seaport Village/ South Embarcadero, and the Coronado Ferry Landing. Orange County: Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza! (Dana Point)

Returning to the beautiful Dana Point, California is the Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza! This gorgeous firework display takes place right on the Doheny State Beach, so make sure you get there early in the morning because parking fills up fast. Riverside County: Pechanga 4th of July Fireworks Show 2021! (Temecula)

Aside from being one of the best casinos in Southern California, Pechanga also has a reputation for putting on one of the best fireworks shows in Riverside County.
