About Luis

Luis A. Mendoza was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and has been a local in San Diego for twenty years. Being bilingual and bicultural, he has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Through his professional experience, he has become an leader with excellent negotiation and customer service skills within the real estate industry.

Luis has successfully built a team of multicultural Realtors in Mendoza & Associates with their simple focus of getting positive results in each and every transaction whether buying or selling real estate throughout Southern California and Mexico. Mendoza & Associates is part of the Century 21 Award franchise that has consistently been #1 in the world within the Century 21 system for the last three years. Luis is heavily involved within the professional community and in the real estate marketplace. As the principal of Mendoza & Associates, Luis continuously ensures that his team is knowledgeable, professional, ethical, trustworthy, consistently educated on the latest laws and regulations and able to handle any type of residential or commercial real estate transaction.

“I always try to convey to the public that buying real estate is an investment of which every American citizen should be a part. I often communicate this fact through being active with different organizations through networking,” said Luis. Luis is knowledgeable in both the Mexico and USA real estate market trends that are constantly affecting this major border city. He constantly strives to be the leader in the bilingual and bicultural business market in which he has been raised and controls a good part of that niche market. He is passionate about his job and is a person who will do almost everything to “make it happen.”

As the real estate industry consistently changes, Luis educates himself as well as his agents nationwide to brainstorm on how to overcome any challenges that come their way in any transaction in order to meet the clients’ needs. When Luis moved to the United States twenty years ago, his first challenge was to learn to speak English at the high school level. He then moved on to become a soccer player at the college level. He was active with different sports growing up in San Diego including surfing, softball, soccer, and running. He is a two-time San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon finisher proving his dedication to any personal and business goal. Luis attributes his customer service skills to working at Nordstrom for over ten years where he worked in management. One of his greatest accomplishments is being part of the top two percent sales force nationwide within the Century 21 system for the last six years as a Centurion.
